Job Summary: Clinical/work experience designed for nursing students who have completed their junior year in an NLN accredited BSN or ASN program. The extern is directly responsible to the RN preceptor and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of basic nursing care under the direction and general supervision of a registered nurse.

REQUIREMENTS:

• CPR certification
• ACLS/PALS certification for ER/ICU
• Ability to read and write fluently in English

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Junior year in nursing school
